Meet your instructors

Laurre

Owner/Instructor

I believe fitness can be anything you want it to be and that it does not need to be something you HAVE to do, but rather something you WANT to do.  My name is Laurre and I am a  certified Pilates/Barre Instructor.  In 2014 I started taking Barre classes because they were offering a special.  After my poor, sore muscles recovered, (it took about two weeks); I started loving how it made my body feel and look stronger by the shape of my muscles, the toning and the stretching.  “Barre, Yoga and Pilates helped me to fall in love with the strength of my body”. I used to hate working out or going to the gym so I didn’t, but I do love to dance and I think that is why I was able to connect with Barre and Pilates.

The key to any fitness routine is to find what you enjoy and what works for your body. Sharing my love of fitness and body awareness with my clients everyday is a blessing. My goal is to create a fun, welcoming space to create an opportunity for you to feel strong, capable and successful.  My motto is “Love yourself enough to take care of yourself”.

While living in Ohio, I was an instructor at Barefly studio and ReZist Studio. I taught Barre, Yogalates, Pilates, Pound Rockout workout, TRX and Cardio classes and  enjoyed interacting with the clients.  After seeing such an improvement in their mind and body I continued my education and was certified in Pound Fitness, ReZist Fitness, Reiki Healing Level 1 and NCEP Personal Training.

I am married, have two kids, a dog and a turtle.  My love of travel and exploring new things came from us living in France, Dubai and Ohio. After moving back to Texas I immediately started my certification for Pilates Mat and Reformer for All Levels, group class, and private sessions.  Since I am an avid learner, I continue to study and take workshops to learn what Fascia is and why it matters along with finding and working with trigger points in your body and continuing education in specializing in special population groups and pre & post natal classes.

It’s always exciting to see the look on my clients faces when I tell them I read a new book and I have something new and “fun” for them to try!  What a wonderful opportunity we have working with our bodies to really connect our mind and body to move more proficiently by overcoming our limitations to achieve our goal.  I wholeheartedly believe that Pilates can Transform, Renew, and Revitalize you by helping you Center yourself and find your balance and that is why I opened my first Pilates studio in 2023.

Viviane

Instructor

Hello! I’m a fitness enthusiast and I love keeping active. Once I entered the world of motherhood, I stopped working as an economist.  I became certified as a Personal Trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). Along the way, I discovered Pilates after an injury.

Once I tried Pilates I became interested in the movement of the body and was fascinated by the relationship between body and mind.  I decided to pursue my dream and get certified as a Pilates teacher.  I completed the 500-hour Pilates Mat and Reformer training and received my certification in 2016. Since then, my journey led me to start taking more classes and more workshops in order to satisfy my passion where I trained and received my certification on the Wunda Chair and the Trapeze table.

I found a profound calling in teaching because it allows me to connect with people, guide them in awareness of how their individual body functions in a safe and efficient manner, as well as challenge and encourage people to reach their optimal potential.

Whether you’re training solo or attending group classes, I offer an individual experience focusing on your unique needs and goals.  My passion lies in helping clients move and strengthen from the inside out, with a special emphasis on correct alignment.

My dedication to physical health, my strong energy, and my genuine love for helping people achieve their full potential; provide my clients with custom, effective experiences.  I believe that strengthening the body and mind has a direct impact on one’s overall happiness.

Paigon

Instructor (Part-time)

Nice to meet you, I’m Paigon! The first time I fell in love with Pilates was while I was  a high schooler watching an infomercial with Daisy Fuentes. It was love at first sight. I would practice doing the hundreds and other moves on my bedroom floor.

Fast forward to when YouTube was launched, I started doing mat Pilates from the comfort of my own home. Then later, I dragged my husband with me to try our first reformer Pilates class and we both loved it. It was a dream come true since I wanted to do it for years and finally had the chance.

The reason I love Pilates stems from 2 reasons: It reminds me of Tae Kwon Do (I took it for 2 years in middle school) and I love pretty things. In Tae Kwon Do, you have to have an awareness of your body, you have to stay focused, you have to be precise and you have to focus on your breath. These are all important in Pilates.

As for liking pretty things, I love art and I see Pilates as art. When it comes to fitness I tend to like fitness that focuses on strength and elegance. If it looks pretty, I’m there. I love Pilates and I also love silks, hoops, aerial yoga, dance, barre, and pole art. All these sports look pretty but instead are really tough. You have to be really strong to do them. There’s something I find really cool in that.

With my love of health and fitness, you‘d think I would lead a healthy life, but unfortunately, I was sidetracked. At the end of 2016, I started my business. I worked in my business 24/7. This led to me skipping workouts and eating more junk food because it took away time from work.

20lbs later, I realized I needed to get back to working out, but I ended up getting injured. Because I was injured, I couldn’t exercise for about a year. Next thing I knew I was 50lbs heavier. I turned to reformer Pilates again.

Thanks to Pilates, I had more energy and less pain while working in my business (if you work at a desk or stand a lot at work, you’ll know how powerful Pilates is). After getting another injury from kickboxing and not being able to work out and gaining weight again, I became more passionate about Pilates.

After going to rehab therapy, I was told I wouldn’t be able to do some things, and it was like a miracle to see my body slowly healing and showing me I can go back to how I was before. This further showed me that I’ll never give up on Pilates. I loved working out with Laurre and Viviane so much, I decided I wanted them to be my mentors on my journey to learning reformer Pilates.

Even though I’m an instructor, I’m forever a student so don’t be surprised if you see me taking classes with you. I can’t wait to see you in class.

Also, if you’re thinking about what classes to take I like a mixture of strength, cardio, and recovery/flexibility. I’m a big believer in being well-rounded. I would suggest any class for strength, a jump class or piloxing for cardio, and a stretch class for recovery and getting stronger and more flexible muscles.
